Is it his best work? No. Is it good work? Hell yeah....but he's changed. Lyrically you still get the cocaine daggers and feathery flow but he changed the formula. I had to listen two times to appreciate it b/c I was searching for those beats. You know the beats that draw you into the speaking where you can drown in a blue dream of sounds and really appreciate what he saying. Now the beats aren't bad, they dope but just not what I need from Ross in a heavy dose. Also, I didn't know how to feel about the Biggie re -do but I like it. Its solid and kind of cool to hear him change up the flow to match the Notorious Ones and having French and Diddy along for the ride were good things as well oddly. The other track with French with the Camp Lo / Wu Tang hook of homage was a stand out as well..though short. Overall, good work. I just miss the Teflon Don.
